What's the challenge?
To be by myself at Sleep No More, the off-broadway play.
What are you afraid of?
Everything LITERALLY.
How was the experience?
Sleep no more is this play where you, as the audience, can get as involved as you want. It is a non-traditional play where the actors are running around up and down the stairs of the McKittrick Hotel. It is based on the story of Mc Beth, so you can start to have an idea. Everyone told me that if I go I have to be on my own to have the full experience. When I got there, I was attached to my group even though they highly recommend you don't. 10 minutes into the place I decided to face my fear and go on my own for the next 2.5 hours. I must say I really, really enjoyed this play. At first I was utterly skeptical and nervous about the whole situation, but after a little while I became more and more confident and started to enjoy the experience. My recommendation is always, always follow a group of people; one time I ended up alone in a huge room and that was super scary! But, I figured out how to get back in a group easily. Go watch this play now! Seriously.
